iNCREASING pOSITIVE hEALTH OUTCOMES AND Creating access to clean, drinkable water

Uganda is faced with a crisis of dirty, infectious water and villagers are suffering from disease, malnurishment, and life-long struggle due to contaminated water sources

Our Core Mission

Uganda Tree of Life Ministries (UTOLM) is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the physical and spiritual well-being of Ugandans through our Water and Health Ministries. By providing clean water and essential healthcare, we open doors to share the love of Jesus, fostering spiritual growth alongside physical nourishment. Our goal is to create lifelong followers of Christ by using these vital services as a bridge to teach the young generation in Uganda about the Gospel, ensuring they glorify Him in all they do.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Scriptures, as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, including His virgin birth, sinless life, divine miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the salvation of lost and sinful humanity through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, by faith alone, apart from works, and in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the believer to live a holy life, witness, and work for Christ.

We believe in the unity of the Spirit among all true believers, forming the Church, the Body of Christ.

We believe in the resurrection of the believer and life everlasting.

The Water Crisis in Uganda: A Call to Action

In small villages and rural areas of Uganda, people often rely on contaminated swamps and distant boreholes for water. They collect water in old gasoline cans and use it for drinking, cooking, and bathing. Due to limited sanitation knowledge, this contaminated water frequently causes illness. Without access to doctors or adequate medical care, these illnesses can often become fatal.

Finding Communities in Need

Uganda Tree of Life Ministries, along with our local Ugandan partners, identifies the areas in greatest need and forms partnerships with village leaders. Together, they establish a Community Water Committee, initiating the process to bring clean, life-saving water to the community.

Our Programs

Water Ministry

Our Water Ministry focuses on providing clean and safe drinking water to communities in Uganda. We identify areas in need, then work with local partners to install wells, purification systems, and sustainable water sources. By addressing this fundamental need, we improve public health, reduce waterborne diseases, and create opportunities for community development. Importantly, our work in water is more than just meeting physical needs; it serves as a gateway to share the message of Jesus, connecting the gift of clean water with the Living Water of Christ.

Health Ministry

The Health Ministry is dedicated to delivering essential medical care and health education to underserved communities in Uganda. We provide clinics, mobile medical teams, and healthcare training to ensure that both immediate and long-term health needs are met. Our approach is rooted in compassion and service, offering medical care as a tangible expression of Christ's love. Through our health initiatives, we build relationships that allow us to introduce people to the Gospel, intertwining spiritual care with physical healing for holistic community transformation.
